PURPOSE
The City of Charlevoix operates a municipal wastewater treatment system servicing over 5000 users. The municipal plant was first established in 1972 and provides service to the City of Charlevoix, Charlevoix Township, and Marion Township. The department continually strives to exceed Michigan Department of Environmental Quality standards and is continuously monitored by MDEQ. Any questions regarding wastewater treatment should be addressed to the phone number above.

What do I do if my toilet or sanitary service line backs up? Users should immediately call 547-3276.
